Keyman Conference starts Sunday August 3rd
Nine Young Men... (sounds familiar) eager to represent Ontario at the 2008 Keyman Conference at the Patton Campus in Elizabethtown Pennsylvania. John Horne, Steve Hartin and Brad Box from G Fred Kingsmill Chapter, Ryan Paquette from Ottawa, Ben Magilsen of Royal City Chapter, Zane McLeod, Brandon Worthington, Louis DeMerchant and Greg Benoit from Horace Mundy Chapter make up this year's contingent. 2008 OMY Dragon Boat Team
Mike Van Trigt is now accepting applications for membership in the 2008 OMY Dragon Boat Team. This Year's Dragon Boat Race will take place on Saturday September 13th in Stratford with a Team practice planned for Sunday August 17th. Activity Fee for this event is $50 per participant. Remember that the team must have a minimum of eight (8) female participants.

Mississauga Chapter to Open September 2008 An agreement in principle has been reached with the Mississauga Temple Board, to sponsor a new Chapter in Mississauga which will commence operations in September 2008. Dad Don Vierboom has been appointed to become the Chairman of the Advisory Council and will have his Advisory Team in place over the next few weeks.

DeMolay Ontario to host 2008 DeMolay Membership Workshop Keep the date of October 4th 2008 free, Andrew McDonald is Chairman of the 2008 DeMolay Membership Workshop and we're asking each chapter to send their three Councilors and at least two advisors to our first ever jurisdictional Membership Workshop in Mississauga. Funding has been secured and we're bringing Dad Jamie Barr from Southern California to town. Dad Barr is known across the US and Canada as an expert in this field and was a keynote speaker at the DeMolay International Membership Conference held last March in Kansas City. We are indeed fortunate to have him join with our Membership team in preparing you for the challenges of New Membership.

Sep 5--7, - 2008 MATOC ritual competition - Harrisburg, Pa.
2008 MATOC ritual competition:
An opportunity for our aspiring ritualists to compete in an internationally acclaimed competition. This year's event is being held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a short 8 hour drive from Toronto.
This is not a Jurisdictional Event and there is no provincial subsidy in place for those who wish to attend.
Chapters will be responsible to register both with the event committee and the Hotel. It is recommended that your chapter stay at the event hotel but if you choose to you may stay at another hotel or make your own accommodation arrangements.
For insurance reasons, you must advise the coordinatng advisor, Dad Blake Kennedy (Director of Ritual & Competitions) at least two weeks in advance that your chapter will be participating in this event with names of participants, advisors attending and travel arrangemets.
